About Lizzie’s

Named in honour of the late Lizzie Barnes – a council colleague, ‘a beautiful person inside and out’ and ‘one of the nicest people you could ever meet’ – the café celebrates the kindness and spirit that she showed to others while she worked in the community at both Stone Pavilion and the Co-Op.

Lizzie’s is more than just a café. Operated by Stone Parish Council, it’s a welcoming hub where people come together, enjoy each other’s company and share conversation in a warm, friendly space. With a smile at the door and a seat at the table, it’s a place for informal gatherings and spontaneous connections.

The café also hosts a mix of events that bring people together and nurture a spirit of kindness and community.
